Humble to Learn

I used to work with a colleague in my previous company who was very humble and never tired to learn new things. This is actually very good, in contrary many people likes to stick on to the old thing/system and scared of the changes will happen by getting hold of the new information - it is a great pity for these people.

Actually, it is very interesting to watch the Apprentice, which airs every Sunday 11.30pm on Channel 9. The Apprentice is a reality show. It's a kind of reality job interviews for the selected candidates to show their ability in order to be successful hiring by one of the world most successful business man, Donald Trump.

From this show, I've learnt a great deal of lessons on dealing with different people in office environment.

Yesterday episode was about a candidate who always thought that he knew a lot of things and always up to himself. Team didn't trust him, never give him the responsibility because scared of his negativity will make the team lose. The most significant lesson I've leant from this person is

"Do not embarrase yourself by acting as you know everything - because you never know the person you're talking to is a genius."
